College: Day One

After all the prayers and anxiousness, I'm finally here!
God has truly been faithful and good.
I'm not rooming with anyone so I have the dorm all to myself! I've never had this much space or storage in my life! I feel truly blessed with everything that's happened.

Welcome week is well on its way and I'm meeting TONS of wonderful people!
I realized today that college is such an amazing time in everyone's life. Especially here, at a Christian University. God is working and the passion that people have with what they want to do is incredible!
What a defining time in one's life this is. I'm so excited!

I am having storage and decorating problems.
I have nowhere and nothing to put or store my jewelery in.
My walls are BARE. I have no mirror.

Some of the girls and I will be going to the awesome two-story target downtown tomorrow so hopefully I'll get some ideas.
And we're stopping by "The Band Box"** (Just thought that was a worthy note)

Learning Faith

Welcome Week for new students at my University is this Saturday. I am having problems with finding the last few thousands of my tuition.
It's difficult; living day by day not knowing if I'll be able to go to school and not being able to find finances.
I am reminded, through all of this--to remain faithful.
It's hard being faithful at times like this. I want to control everything that happens, how I am to live my life, what goes well and what doesn't. This is a reminder from God that I have to let go and trust that he will provide.
I know that God is faithful. I know that his will, will be done.
I've never been this afraid of my future in my life--
but then it comes down to Trusting God.
And I am reminded that God is Good and only does Good.
Everything will come to be in his time.

So tonight,
I will remain faithful
and lift my worries
and burdens
and life
to God
because God is Always Good
